Warranty

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure .

Horizon Global (NZ) Limited trading as TrailCom ("TrailCom") provides the following warranty in relation to the Trojan trailer parts range and subsequent brands sold by TrailCom (“TrailCom product ”).

Nothing in this warranty is to be interpreted as excluding, restricting or modifying any New Zealand legislation applicable to the supply of goods and services which cannot be so excluded, restricted or modified.

Replacement Warranty

TrailCom warrants that, subject to the exclusions and limitations below, the TrailCom product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the applicable warranty period set out below:

* The applicable warranty period commences on the date of sale by the authorised TrailCom stockist or TrailCom to the original purchaser. The Warranty applies only while the TrailCom product is owned by the original purchaser or the recipient of a new TrailCom product (in the case of acquisition as a gift or promotion). The Warranty does not apply to TrailCom products that were purchased second hand, whether purchased installed on a vehicle or purchased separately.

If a defect appears in a TrailCom Product before the end of the warranty period and TrailCom finds the TrailCom Product to be defective in materials or workmanship, TrailCom will, in its sole discretion, either:

  1. Repair the TrailCom product or the defective component of the TrailCom product free of charge;
  2. Replace the TrailCom Product or the defective component of the TrailCom product or
  3. Refund the purchase price of the TrailCom product to the original purchaser.
